🚗 NEW - AUTO / MOTORWAY VEHICLES (18-May-2025): Turkey’s total car fleet reached 16.6M as of April 2025, with over 80k monthly new registrations. Monthly new truck registrations dropped to 41.2k in April from 43.6k previous year. New motorcycle registrations remained flat at 1.1M (LTM) after a prolonged rally.

🏗️ NEW - CONSTRUCTION & HOUSING MARKET (17-May-2025): TurkStat’s April 2025 housing data is out, showing that 118k homes were sold across Turkey in April alone, bringing the total to nearly 1.6M units over the past 12 months - a historic peak. Real returns on residential property stood at -4.2% as of March, continuing a gradual recovery toward neutral territory.

✈️ NEW - TURKISH AIRPORTS (15-May-2025): Domestic air freight declined by 1.3% on a monthly basis, while international volume increased by 7.3%. A total of 5 million tons of freight was handled over the trailing 12 months, representing a 7.5% year-on-year increase.

⛽ NEW - OIL INDUSTRY (28-Apr-2025): Turkey’s net oil import is 34M tons as of February, trailing 12 months. Domestic gasoline & diesel consumption increased by 3.0% to 31.2M tons. Retail sales dropped in Istanbul by about 5% in February, while all other major cities showed an increase.

🏠 NEW - TURKISH GAS INDUSTRY (28-Apr-2025): Turkey’s gas consumption rose by about 10.0% in February 2025 on a trailing 12-month basis, reaching 55.7M sm³. Increased usage for energy generation was the main driver, followed by household demand, supported by the addition of 0.9M new gas subscribers.

🚘 NEW - LPG INDUSTRY (28-Apr-2025): 3.6M tons of LPG were produced in Turkey as of February, trailing 12 months, with 939k tons refined domestically. Total domestic consumption reached around 4.1M tons, with autogas accounting for 3.4M tons.
